She has been working at the Department of Trauma and Hand Surgery of the University Clinical Hospital in Wrocław, gaining experience during everyday work and clinic rotations for many years. She is a member of the Polish Society of Hand Surgery. She has completed numerous training courses and attended conferences in Poland and Europe.
Dr. Ewa Wagner was also a member of the team performing the first hand transplant on a patient with a developmental defect. She completed a musculoskeletal ultrasound course. She specializes in musculoskeletal injuries, in particular injuries to the hand, and the treatment of peripheral nerve damage.
At the orthopedic clinic of SCM VenoMedica, Dr. Ewa Wagner performs comprehensive diagnostics and surgeries of the hand (carpal tunnel, cubital tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, de Quervain syndrome, Dupuytren contracture, Guyon canal syndrome), diagnostics and non-surgical treatment of joint pain (intra-articular injections of hyaluronic acid, intra-articular blocks). She qualifies patients for orthopedic procedures and offers follow-up appointments post surgeries and injuries to the musculoskeletal system (fractures, sprains, dislocations).
