Marcin Kolarz, M.D.


A graduate of the Medical University of Wrocław. He completed specialization in orthopedics and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system. He has been working at the Trauma and Orthopedic Surgery Department of the Provincial Specialist Hospital in Wrocław for 7 years. In my work, I deal primarily with injuries to the musculoskeletal system, treatment of degenerative joint disease (from conservative treatment to joint replacement), and treatment of knee joint diseases (arthroscopic treatment and reconstructive procedures).

At the SCM VenoMedica orthopedic clinic, I deal with comprehensive diagnostics and non-surgical treatment of joint and spine pain (platelet-rich plasma treatment, intra-articular injections of hyaluronic acid, intra- and peri-articular injections of collagen). Conducts checks after injuries to the musculoskeletal system – fractures, sprains, dislocations. During visits, he performs an ultrasound examination of the joints.

Ewa Wagner, M.D.


Specialist in orthopedics and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system (especially the hand).

She has been working at the Department of Trauma and Hand Surgery of the University Clinical Hospital in Wrocław, gaining experience during everyday work and clinic rotations for many years. She is a member of the Polish Society of Hand Surgery. She has completed numerous training courses and attended conferences in Poland and Europe.

Dr. Ewa Wagner was also a member of the team performing the first hand transplant on a patient with a developmental defect. She completed a musculoskeletal ultrasound course. She specializes in musculoskeletal injuries, in particular injuries to the hand, and the treatment of peripheral nerve damage.

At the orthopedic clinic of SCM VenoMedica, Dr. Ewa Wagner performs comprehensive diagnostics and surgeries of the hand (carpal tunnel, cubital tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, de Quervain syndrome, Dupuytren contracture, Guyon canal syndrome), diagnostics and non-surgical treatment of joint pain (intra-articular injections of hyaluronic acid, intra-articular blocks). She qualifies patients for orthopedic procedures and offers follow-up appointments post surgeries and injuries to the musculoskeletal system (fractures, sprains, dislocations). Tomasz Niedźwiedzki, MSc


Graduate of University of Physical Education, school of Physical therapy. Physiotherapist with extensive professional experience, gained in renowned medical facilities, LIM-LUXMED Warsaw, Complex Rehabilitation Centre Konstancin Jeziorna, LUXMED Wrocław. In his practice he runs therapy for patients with orthopaedic or neuromuscular impairments, impacting on patients’ mobility. Participant of many training courses in Kaltenborn-Evjenth manual therapy, neurophysical PNF therapy, NDT-Bobath. Recognised Kaltenborn-Evienth and PNF therapist. He supports athletes, both professional and recreational, in preparation for sports. He maps and leads the post-injury rehabilitation process. He educates on the broadly understood biological renewal in sports, injury prevention and exercise coaching. Long-time associate of Polish Cycling Federation, physiotherapist of the National Junior teams in road and track cycling. Beata Zadrożna-Śliwka, M.D.,Ph.D.


Wroclaw Medical University’s Medical school graduate (1998). She gained experience in the Department and Clinic of Endocrinology, Diabetology and Isotope Therapy in Wrocław, as a result of which, she obtained the title of internal diseases specialist and later endocrinology specialist. Simultaneously she started academic research dedicated to the bone disorders in women suffering from hyperprolactinemia, which ended with defence of the doctoral dissertation and obtaining a M.D.Ph.D title in endocrinology. She gained a certificate of competence from the Roztocze School of Ultrasound in the field of small parts ultrasound – diagnosis of thyroid, lymph nodes and other neck structures. Participated in many conferences and academic symposiums, took part in multiple continuous development courses in endocrinology, diabetology and metabolic diseases. She is a co-author of research papers in endocrinology, published in domestic and foreign journals. In her professional practice, she focuses mainly on providing complex care to adult patients with endocrine conditions – pituitary gland, thyroid, parathyroid glands, adrenal gland, ovaries and testicles. Member of the Polish Society of Endocrinology.

Her professional activity span includes in particular the diagnosis and treatment of: thyroid conditions (thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, underactive thyroid, overactive thyroid), thyroid gland ultrasound, complex diagnosis and treatment of parathyroid glands conditions and pituitary gland conditions (such as Hyperprolactinemia), adrenal gland, menstrual disorders, excessive hair growth (hirsutism), obesity.

Renata Romaszkiewicz, M.D.,Ph.D.


Internal medicine and cardiology specialist. The emphasis of her practice is empathic approach to her patients; by explaining the nature of illness to the patients, she enables them to also participate in the treatment process. Since 2001 she has been working in the Cardiology Department with Intense Cardiac Care unit, working on duty and saving lives of many patients with acute heart conditions. She obtained a M.D.Ph.D.degree; the topic of her PhD dissertation was pulmonary embolism and lung hypertension. The findings of her research were wildly published in specialist journals in Europe. She is highly skilled in heart ultrasound and assessing heart valve disease, as well as conducting exercise stress tests and interpreting Holter monitor ECG and blood pressure test results. She has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac diseases: hypertension, also affecting young people, coronary disease, patients after a heart attack, coronary artery bypass surgery, coronary artery stent placement and patients with heart arrythmia, including those with atrial fibrillation and high cholesterol. She is particularly interested in some disciplines: sports cardiology – screenings of professional and recreational athletes, pregnancy care in women with Cardiovascular diseases as well as Cardiac management of oncology patients. She is very experienced in preoperative assessment for surgical procedures.

Krzysztof Dyś, M.D.,Ph.D.


A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical Academy in Wrocław.

Specialist in radiology and imaging diagnostics.

Currently employed as the senior assistant at the Department of General, Interventional Radiology and Neuroradiology at the University Clinical Hospital in Wrocław. He is a member of CIRSE, PLTR and the PLTR interventional radiology section.

Dr Krzysztof Dyś uczestniczył w wielu kongresach, konferencjach i szkoleniach krajowych oraz zagranicznych. Jest współautorem oraz autorem licznych artykułów oraz prac z zakresu diagnostyki obrazowej oraz radiologii i chirurgii naczyniowej publikowanych w czasopismach krajowych oraz doniesień zjazdowych na konferencjach polskich i zagranicznych. Dr. Krzysztof Dyś took part in many congresses, conferences, and courses in Poland and abroad. He is the author and co-author of numerous articles on diagnostic imaging, radiology, and vascular surgery, published in national journals, as well as reports he presented at conferences at home and abroad.

Magdalena Bencal-Kusińska, M.D.


A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical Academy in Wrocław.

Specialist in dermatology and venereology.

She specializes in the treatment of skin diseases in adults and children. Magdalena Bencal-Kusińska is especially interested in allergic skin diseases, infectious diseases (bacterial, viral, fungal), acne, psoriasis, and seborrheic dermatitis.

She participates in many specialization and further training courses as well as national and international conferences. She was a resident at the Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Allergology in Wrocław, at the Neonatal Department of the Provincial Specialist Hospital in Wrocław, and an internship abroad at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain. She is the author and co-author of many scientific reports and a member of the Polish Dermatological Society.

At our dermatology clinic, she treats diseases of the skin, mucous membranes, and hair. During visits, she performs dermatoscopy (lesion assessment). She also offers trichology consults including scalp and hair examinations and diagnoses and treats sexually transmitted diseases.
